The Boss vs The Bankers
I may have been Born in the USA but this Jersey Girl is not loving some of the songs Bruce Springsteen is singing.
During a recent show in Berlin, Springsteen sang about the fat bankers and greedy thieves that ruin our towns. He belted out lyrics from Jack of All Trades which went “Banker man grows fat, working man grows thin.” This song is from his album “Wrecking Ball” that was released in February and was inspired by the Occupy Wall Street movement.
What’s happening Boss? What about the fat-cat bankers, corporate executives and Wall Street money that help our economy grow and people prosper? How are people supposed to buy those expensive concert tickets if they don’t work hard and make enough money to afford them.
I know it can be a Jungleland out there, but Baby, We were Born to Run with it, weren’t we?
